Hippocampal Subfield Segmentation Summit 5 (HS3.5)

Location: Residence Inn San Diego Downtown

The aims of this year’s meeting are as follows:

  • Provide an update on the harmonization effort from the Boundary Working Group
  • Engage the broader community about current and future directions
  • Share relevant research findings during the afternoon research symposium
  • Network with your fellow HS3-ers at a Happy Hour (location TBD)

Prior events

July 17-22, 2016 – ICOM6 in Budapest

The hippocampal subfield community, and members of our group will be present in Budapest for the 6th International Conference on Memory (ICOM).

On Wednesday morning, members of the hippocampal subfield group (Renaud La Joie, David Berron, Nanthia Suthana, Andrew Bender, Attila Keresztes) will be giving talks, including an update on our recent progress, during a full session entitled “Advances in high-resolution imaging of the MTL – Structural and functional development”. Come and join us at 9:30!

July 23-28, 2016 – AAIC in Toronto

Hippocampal subfield group members will be present in Toronto for the next Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC).

Laura Wisse will be presenting a poster (Monday, 25th) with an update on the group’s progress and initial results of the 3T protocol for hippocampal body.

For those attending the conference (or living in Toronto), you are invited to join your fellow members for drinks on Tuesday, July 26th. You can either meet the group at the entrance of the convention center at 5:45pm, or meet them directly at WVRST (if you plan to attend, please contact Rosanna Olsen: rkolsen22/at/ ).

November 10-11, 2016 – HSG retreat 2016 in San Diego

HSG members are invited to attend this year’s retreat in San Diego on Friday, November 11th. We are currently finalizing the venue and time, but please plan for an all-day meeting (approximately 9am-5pm) in close proximity to the convention center.

Additionally, for members of the Boundary Working Group, we plan to hold a half-day meeting the afternoon of Thursday, November 10th.
